Transfer Site

Acceptable Items

At No Cost:

  • household bagged garbage
  • clean wood, trees/brush/branches,
  • recyclables (cardboard, paper), scrap metal, miscellaneous metal (lawn mowers, rototillers, barbeques, swings)
  • small appliances (toasters, crockpots – metal outsides only, toaster ovens)

At a Cost:

  • medium-size appliances (mini fridges, water coolers)
    $10.00 each

  • large-size appliances (washers, fridges, stoves)
    $25.00 each

  • toilets (porcelain)
    $10.00 each

Other fees may apply at the discretion of the Transfer Site Operator.

The Transfer Site Operator has final say on all acceptable items.

Unacceptable Items

  • electronics
  • tires
  • batteries
  • asphalt/shingles
  • rocks
  • cement
  • asbestos
  • antifreeze
  • paint/paint cans
  • fuel tanks
  • propane tanks
  • animal carcasses
  • butchered meats or byproducts
  • contaminated brush/soil,
  • liquid waste or any other  hazardous materials
  • vehicles
  • ATV and other motorized riding equipment,
  • construction waste
  • medium and large furniture
  • mattresses or box springs
  • microwave ovens

Summer Hours: April 1 – September 30

Sunday: 12pm-4pm
Wednesday: 12pm-8pm
Thursday: 9am-4pm
Closed all statutory holidays

Winter Hours: October 1 – March 31

Sunday: 12pm-4pm
Thursday: 9am-4pm

Printed maps of the RM are available for $25 each. The Canada Post shipping charge for 1-3 maps is $3.50.
