RM of LOON LAKE WANTS YOUR OPINION ON A BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
The RM of Loon Lake #561 Council would like to invite you to a ratepayer open house to discuss a bridge replacement project located in the RM at land location North of Section 34, Township 58, Range 20 West of the 3rd Meridian, over an unnamed tributary. Your opinion is needed for establishing the best solution at this site, as costs have been increasing significantly in recent years and the RM is striving to spend money wisely. The options include replacing the bridge with either culverts or a bridge.
Consultants have completed pre-design and their findings from site surveys and hydraulic assessments and options available, will be presented at the open house. Opinions of local landowners experiences and information will be gathered for review, in order for the RM to make a final selection on the options available.
The open house will feature information stations where the consultants will share facts on the existing conditions and options for the replacement. One-to-one discussions and a group presentation and discussion will take place regarding the details of the project.
The come and go open house will be held on Monday, June 26th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Makwa Community Hall located on Edgar Street in Makwa Saskatchewan. A formal presentation and discussion will occur at 7pm, for those interested in attending the presentation and question and answer session.
Food and beverages will be served.
