Important Notice to the Residents of the Rural Municipality of Loon Lake
Dear Residents,
In the event of another postal strike, the RM of Loon Lake may be unable to send Tax Notices by mail. We will continue to email to those already set up for E-Billing.
What You Can Do:
- Sign Up for E-Billing
- To avoid future disruptions and ensure reliable delivery of your Assessments Notice and Tax Notices, we encourage you to sign up for e-billing. By opting for e-billing, you will receive your Assessment Notice and Tax Notice via email, ensuring timely and convenient access.
- To enroll, please contact the RM Office or visit our website to find the Email Consent Form under the Contacts and Forms page or click on the link.
- Inquire About Your Bill: Please contact the RM Office directly at 306-837-2076 or email us at info@rmofloonlake.ca to obtain information on your property taxes and payment options.

Payment Options:
We offer a couple of convenient ways to pay your property taxes and invoices:
- Online Banking:
- Pay through online banking with CIBC or your local Credit Union (Except Affinity branches) Simply search and add the RM of Loon Lake Tax or Loon Lake No. 561 (R.M.) Tax as a payee and include your customer or roll number as your account number. Your Customer number is located in the top right-hand corner of your tax notice. Your roll number is located next to your legal land location of your property.
- Credit Card Payments:
- You can pay by credit card in the office or over the phone by contacting the RM Office at 306-837-2076. Please note there will be a 2% surcharge applied to credit card payments.
- Debit, Cash or Cheque
- You can pay via debit, cash or cheque in the office located at 100 First Street South, Loon Lake, SK.
- We do accept post dated cheques as well.
