Effective September 1, 2024, a 2% surcharge will be charged on all credit card transactions. Any transactions made on taxes via credit card before August 30, 2024 will not be subject to the 2% surcharge.
The following guideline will be used regarding the 2% surcharge on any credit card transactions moving forward:
Between January 1st and August 31, a 2% credit card surcharge will not be charged on prepayments or the current years property tax payments.
