Snow Removal for Residential Subdivisions
The RM of Loon Lake No. 561 is currently seeking an experienced individual or company to remove snow from various residential lake development locations on an as needed contractual basis within the RM of Loon Lake.
The intention of this request is to engage a Contractor that ensures good workmanship and quick responds to demand for snow clearing.
The RM of Loon Lake will consider multiple criteria when determining the successful vendor for this opportunity, including the individual or companies’ ability to meet the job requirements. Bids do not have to include all locations. The lowest or any quote will not necessarily be accepted. The submission does not have to include all subdivisions shown below. If there are specific subdivisions, please indicate which ones on the attached RFQ submission form.
Schedule A – attached to the RFQ shows the roads requiring snow removal in green. There are currently six developments requiring snow removal within the RM of Loon Lake, the list is as follows.
- Ministikwan
- Ministikwan Subdivision (Johnson Resort)
- Murphy Lake (Christie Development)
- Fowler Lake Developments
- Fire Song
- Peck Lake
The successful vendor will have 10 days from the contract being awarded to provide proof of $2 million liability (minimum), current WCB in good standings, PST compliant if out of province contractor. If the required documents are not submitted to the RM office within the requested time frame the contract may become null and void and an additional vendor may be selected.
Please complete and submit the attached ‘RFQ Submission’ form and submit it to the RM on or before November 8, 2024 at 4:00 pm in a SEALED ENVELOPE marked SNOW REMOVAL to the RM office located at 100 – 1st street south or Box 40 Loon Lake, SK S0M 1L0.
The submissions will be reviewed at the November 12th, 2024, regular Council meeting.
