Burning Some Brush Piles

If you are planning on doing any kind of Controlled Burn i.e.: brush piles, you are required to obtain a Burning Permit.

NOTE: No Burn Permits will be issued during a Fire Ban

It’s that time of year where the weather is nice out and a lot of people are think about doing some renovations, or building. Possibly demolishing old buildings or old cabins.

Please obtain the proper permits that are required

2025 Homecoming

In 2025, the Village of Loon Lake, will be celebrating 75 years of being the community we love and call home.

The Mayor and Council of the Village of Loon Lake, are looking for a group of Volunteers to form a committee to oversee and carry out a 75th Anniversary homecoming event for the Village of Loon Lake.

Silver for Gold

This is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising funds and awareness to Childhood Cancer. They collect pop-can tabs across the prairies and sell the tabs to JK Metals in Broadview, SK. All proceeds raised goes towards:

  1. Directly assisting affected families with small costs associated with treatments.
  2. Developing a suitable treatment for children with cancer in Saskatchewan.

Loon Lake Transfer Site Summer Hours

April 1st to October 1

  • Sundays 12pm to 4pm
  • Wednesdays 12pm to 8pm
  • Thursdays 9am to 4pm
